Fight the Cults of the Cthulhu Mythos in the Hidden War across the Roman Empire. A horror-themed solo / co-op adventure wargame set in the Cohors Cthulhu universe during the height of Imperial Rome
Summon heroes from across the Roman Empire to fight alone or with allies against the eldritch forces of the outer gods. Carve your way through the mist-shrouded Germanic forests, encountering strange ruins and monstrous enemies at every turn. Can your heroes keep your soldiers together against the unfathomable hordes, or will their sanity shatter as quickly as their ranks? Your enemy, the malevolent Outer God Mendaxius, will match the wits of your mightiest heroes and the size of your legions, ensuring you always face a vile and relentless foe.
Cohors Cthulhu: Tactics is a solo/coop adventure wargame where you will create your own protagonist, raise a small cohort of close companions and loyal soldiers, and take them on a heroic journey, battling against both the insidious Cult of Mormo and the bloodthirsty barbarian Herjan on the Germanic frontier.
Follow your hero's journey through three procedurally generated narrative acts as you battle against the forces of the Mythos.
This 208-page, adventure wargame is packed with full colour photos and contains: The Hero’s Journey - choose from a series of paths such as Blood of the Heroes, Blood of the Gods, and Blood of the Ancients that can unlock mighty abilities but at great risk. Take your hero on a series of narrative trials that can unlock the favour of the gods, access ancient weapons, reveal the Hidden War, gain unexpected allies, and much more. Define a hero's legacy by your choices on the battlefield - not every battle needs to be won for you to unlock your destiny!
