Az Ugears Roadster VM-01 egy klasszikus, nyitott kétüléses sportautó által ihletett fa mechanikus modell, amely a retró formavilágot steampunk karakterrel és látványos belső mechanikával ötvözi. A készlet azoknak szól, akik nemcsak egy mutatós modellt szeretnének a polcra, hanem élvezik azt is, amikor az építés végén a szerkezet valóban életre kel. A kész roadster dekorációként is erős darab, de az igazi varázsa abban rejlik, hogy működés közben is megmutatja, mennyi ötlet és mérnöki játékosság került bele.
Az építés élménye
A 437 elemből álló készlet sík falemezekből épül fel egy háromdimenziós modellé. A különböző, 4 és 2 mm vastag rétegelt lemez elemek kombinációja adja a karosszéria letisztult, áramvonalas megjelenését. Az összeszerelés során szépen kirajzolódik az autó szerkezete, így az építés folyamata legalább annyira élvezetes, mint a végeredmény. Jó választás lehet a részletgazdag mechanikus modellek rajongóinak, valamint azoknak, akik szeretik kézben tartani az alkotás folyamatát az első elemtől az utolsó próbakörig.
A kész modell funkciói
A Roadster VM-01 nem áll meg a látványnál: gumimotor hajtja, indításához pedig egy tekerőkulcs szolgál, amely a modell hátulján pótkerék formát kapott. A nyitható motorháztető alatt látható a V8-as motor, működés közben pedig a mozgó szelepek is megfigyelhetők. A váltó három üzemmódot kínál: előre, hátra és alapjárat. A menetirány a kormánykerékkel állítható, az első kerekek felfüggesztése pedig tovább erősíti a realisztikus hatást. Egy felhúzással a modell akár 4 métert is megtehet, így a tesztelés és a játék az építés után sem ér véget.

Es gibt Straßenwagen und es gibt Roadster. Diese historische Typenbezeichnung für alle Zweisitzer ohne festes Dach oder aufklappbares Verdeck ist vor allen Dingen den britischen Automarken Jaguar und MG zu verdanken. Im italienischen Sprachgebrauch wird diese Bauweise hingegen Spider genannt. Mit dem ROADSTER VM-01 geht der Modellbauhersteller UGEARS® einen Schritt weiter und präsentiert eine Hommage in Anlehnung an die Klassiker dieser straßentauglichen Rennwagen.
Mit insgesamt 437 Holzeinzelteilen aus nachhaltigem Holzbestand präsentiert die Marke UGEARS® ihrem Modellbau verliebten Zielpublikum ein Steampunk-Kunstwerk nach Maß, welches als Stillleben den urigen Sound der V8-Zylinder Motoren visuell zu imitieren scheint. Dieses Gefühl von ungebremster Motorkraft wirkt durch den verwendeten retrofuturistischen Stil umso wirkungsvoller und interessanter. Wie alle Modelle des Markenherstellers wird hier auf jedes Detail geachtet. Der ROADSTER VM-01 verfügt sowohl über einen Gummimotor, als auch einen Anlasser mit Drehschlüssel. Drei Gänge spiegeln das Schaltgetriebe wider, welches aufgezogen selbst auf unwegsames Gelände betrieben werden kann. Dazu wurde die Radaufhängung mit einer Federung versehen, um die dazugehörige Mechanik detailgetreu wiederzugeben. Dieses Oldtimer-Unikat ist somit selbst ein Unikat.

Your adventure begins when you open the box with your new mechanical model kit from Ugears. This is when you will experience the pleasant smell of natural wood that will stay with you all the way through the process of assembly, testing and play. Building the model is fascinating and exciting: with your own hands you will put flat plywood parts together to create a 3-dimensional moving mechanical marvel.
However, assembly is just a part of the fun: when the Roadster is finished you will definitely want to see what it is capable of and take it for a test-drive. Even when you get to the curb and are ready to put your model away, we would recommend to park it in a wellvisible place in your house or office. Classic shapes and iconic Ugears’ design makes your Roadster a wonderful complement to any interior. The unique charisma of the model comes from both its outstanding technical characteristics and detailed realistic retro-design.
The clever combination of the plywood elements of different thickness – 4 and 2 mm – ensures that the motorcar’s body looks streamlined and clear. Open the hood to see the powerful V8 engine and watch the moving valves. The Roadster sports car has a transmission that switches it in three modes: forward, back, and idle. The driving direction can be adjusted with the steering wheel. The suspension of the front wheels makes the Roadster look even more realistic. With a powerful rubber band motor, the car covers up to four meters in one winding. The winding key is designed to look like a spare wheel at the rear of the Roadster.
