How can you decide which game is right for you?

All of our base games can be taken home*. If we do not have an opened copy, we will open one for you, provided that we have more than one copy in the store. In general, we only open one copy of each game, so if that copy is currently out with someone else, you will unfortunately need to wait until it is returned. Of course, you can reserve games in advance.

This does not apply to expansions, individual logic games or “legacy” type games; these cannot be taken home for trial.

Take any game home, even several at the same time.

The current discounted opened-copy price of the game or games must be left as a deposit. When you bring them back, we deduct 10% of the original price of the game(s) from this deposit and return the rest to you.

Games can be taken home on any opening day and must be returned within one week.
The fee applies to this 168-hour period, but the rental period can be extended if needed. The extension fee is 10% of the original price of the game(s) per week.

Before taking the games home, please check that all components are present and that nothing is damaged. We check every game when it is returned. If a game is incomplete or damaged, you will be required to purchase it.

Every opened game has a current discounted purchase price, which you will also find on the trial sheet. This price applies to the exact copy you are trying. If you buy the game at the current price, you do not have to pay the rental fee; you do not even need to come in, it is enough to call us or send us an email to let us know that you would like to keep that game.
