Warranty conditions and full satisfaction guarantee

You can find the legally required warranty conditions below. In addition, we would like to offer something more: with us, in many cases, you can try a board game before deciding whether to keep it.

Try it before you decide

You can try many of the board games we sell, because through our board game rental service you can take home any base game to try it and decide whether you like it enough to buy it.

What we offer beyond the legal requirements

Full satisfaction guarantee

If a board game purchased from us does not turn out to be the right choice, we offer two options so that you do not have to “live together” with an unwanted relationship.

Unopened product

The full purchase price can be used as store credit

If you return the board game in its original condition and packaging — at any time while we still stock the game —, we will credit its full purchase price toward your next purchase, meaning you can use the full amount in our store.

Opened, undamaged product

70% trade-in value

If you have already opened the game but return it undamaged within one month of purchase, we will credit it toward your next purchase at 70% of the board game’s current value.

Legally required warranty conditions

Official Hungarian warranty

We sell our products in accordance with the warranty regulations currently in force in Hungary.

Warranty for the products we sell is provided by the Hungarian importers of the manufacturers. KATAMI Kft. handles all complaints in accordance with the applicable legal regulations.

Quality defects detected within 72 hours

In accordance with consumer protection regulations, if a quality defect is detected within 72 hours and it can be presumed that the defect already existed at the time of purchase, we provide a replacement product.

A replacement request can be accepted only if the following documents and accessories are presented together:

the complete original factory packaging of the product, including all original accessories,
one copy of the invoice for the product.

If these are partially or completely missing, we cannot accept the warranty claim.

For quality complaints reported after 72 hours, we will seek to resolve the issue in cooperation with the Hungarian distributor of the product.

For webshop orders: under Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.), the customer may withdraw from the purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of receipt, meaning from the day the product is received. The right of withdrawal may be exercised by making a clear statement to this effect or by using the statutory withdrawal form template.

Important: our webshop does not accept parcels sent with postage payable by the recipient. Such parcels will always be returned to the sender.
